Elizabeth Ann Borden Murphree, 73 years old of Moulton, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 25, 2017 at NHC Healthcare in Moulton, Alabama.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home with the funeral following at 2:00 PM in Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Steve Agee officiating. Burial will be in Rutherford Cemetery.
Mrs. Murphree was preceded in death by her husbands: Louis Milton Chambless and Gerald Murphree, her parents: James Albert Borden and Ora Mae Bunnell Borden, three brothers: James Borden Jr., Hershel Borden and Jerry Borden, seven sisters: Evelyn Pierce, Opal Horton, Elease Tanksley, Mildred Frost, Mavis Naylor, Sybil Etheredge and Cathy Hatcher.
She is survived by a son: Jason Chambless of Moulton, one brother: Nathaniel “Bud” Borden and his wife Joan of Moulton, a family pet: Buster, Thirty two nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are: Steven Borden, Jesse Borden, Gary Horton, Robert Sappington, Mark Rose and Brad Smith.
