Marie Thrasher, age 71, of Pleasant Grove, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Sardis Cemetery on the Old Tuscaloosa Road.
Mrs. Thrasher was preceded in death by her Parents-James and Ella May Downey; Sister-Vera Mayes; Brothers-James Edward Downey and Henry Downey; First Husband-Travis Leon Guthrie.
She is survived by her Husband-Victor Paul Thrasher; Daughter-Joanne Whitlow (Charles); Sons-Travis Guthrie (Carla), Darryle Guthrie, David Guthrie (Dawn), Vincent Thrasher and Spenser Thrasher (Caitlin); Sisters-Gladys Guthrie (Shorty), Ruby Faye and Janie Houstin (Glenn); 19 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
