Robert ‘Bob’ Tyree, 84, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. Mr. Tyree was a US Navy veteran, having served in the Korean conflict and Vietnam War. He was a member and long-time deacon at Huntsville Park Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Mavis Tyree; sons, Wayne Tyree (Wendy), and Warren Tyree (Holly); daughters, Linda Morrow (David), and Barbara Bennett; 11 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Williams, and Betty Jean Bradford (Sloan); several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday at Huntsville Park Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Mylon Metcalf officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
