Richmond Pearce “Ricky” Morrow – Obituary

Richmond Pearce “Ricky” Morrow, 69, a Montgomery resident, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017. He will be remembered most for his never-ending devotion to his family and friends, generosity, love of outdoors, and Auburn football. He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed competing in many bass tournaments. Mr. Morrow was preceded in death by his father, Claudie Richmond Morrow; his mother, Maxine Elliott Pearce; and his sister, Lauren Morrow.

Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Morrow; granddaughter, Alexis Morrow; grandson, Braden Morrow; and a great-granddaughter, Alayah Morrow; an uncle, Dee Pearce; several nieces and nephews; and many friends, including Jack Mills, Kay Nash, Art Long, Gail Royal and employees and customers of Gail’s Down the Street Café in Montgomery.

Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at Leak Memory Chapel at 3 p.m. followed by his funeral service at 4 p.m. with Rev. Art Long officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Athens, Alabama, Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Missions at Eastmont Baptist Church, Montgomery, Alabama.
