Hazel Walker Davidson – Obituary

Hazel Walker Davidson, 81, retired truck driver with Smith Trucking & Excavating Company and resident of Glencoe Drive in Culleoka, died Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bill McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M, at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.

Born January 24, 1936, in Maury County, he was the son of the late Ernest Ervin Davidson and the late Ada Jones Davidson.

Survivors include his nephew, Norman Alexander Parks, II, of Hurricane Mills; nieces, Lura Kimie Parks (Ron) Perry of Mt. Juliet and Jerei-Ellen Parks of Bradenton, FL; longtime special friend, Mamie Osborne of Culleoka; daughter-in-law, Michele Davidson of Culleoka; longtime friends, Cameron Stewart, Percy McNeese, and Mamie’s sons, David Osborne and Larry Osborne, all of Culleoka; and several great nieces and great nephews, Ciria Hunt, Jerry Parks, Lura Keogh, and Jacob Elston.

He was preceded in death by a son, Clint Anthony “Tony” Davidson, and sister, Ernestine Davidson Parks.

Active pallbearers will be Larry Osborne, Norman A. Parks, II, Jerry Parks, Randy Russell, and Michael Russell. Honorary pallbearers will include Chad Smith and Percy McNeese.
