Mary Virginia Fitzgerald Roberson, age 82, a resident of Spring Hill, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Life Care Center.
A graveside service will be held on Friday at 2PM at Hardison Cemetery with Rev. Tony Brown. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on June 1, 1935 in Maury County, Mary was the daughter of the late Will Fitzgerald and the late Lou Emma Horseford Fitzgerald. She attended Rally Hill Kedron School and worked as an inspector for Kent Coat Company in Lewisburg and also worked for Weather Tamer and Winning Moves. She was a member of Craft United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sons: John Roberson of Spring Hill, Tracy (Tracy) Roberson of Columbia; grandchildren: William Kalob (April) Roberson, Peyton Hunter Roberson, Levi Roberson; great granddaughter: Ellen Marie Roberson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Andrew Roberson; son: James Fitzgerald; brothers: Henry Fitzgerald, William “Billy” Fitzgerald; sisters: Mary Louise Essie, Madline Beard, Maude Lovett, and Mae Kelly; and granddaughter: Emily Roberson.
