Brian K. Elrod, 46, died Monday, September 11, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tn. He was born in Tupelo, Ms. and worked as a logger. He was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Belmont, Ms.
Services will be Thursday, September 14, 3:30 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Belmont, Ms. with Bro. Glenn Bridgmon officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery, Belmont, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Ms. will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife – Jenee Elrod, Golden, Ms.; two children – Chase Elrod and Zach Elrod; three step-children – Stephanie Cleveland (Gentry), Garrett Solomon (Ashley) and Jay Solomon; four grandchildren – Keiley Robinson, Kolter Cleveland, Caden Solomon and McKenna Elrod; one brother – Steve Elrod (Vicki); his parents – Bob and Maggie Elrod; two nieces – Tasha Armstrong and Sarah Beth Elrod and one nephew – Nathan Elrod.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Idus and Audrey Vinson and Ted and Maggie Elrod.
Pallbearers will be Jason Taylor, Glen Elrod, Jay Solomon, Garrett Solomon, Gentry Cleveland, Jerry Williams and Nathan Elrod.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 13, 6-9 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
