Marvin Leonard Fillyaw, Jr. was born on June 4, 1974 in Harvey, Illinois to Marvin Fillyaw, Sr. and Vivian Diane Fillyaw. He was the second child born to this union. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin, Sr..

Marvin had an easy smile and a quick laugh. In spite of his life-long struggles, Marvin had a strong love and desire to serve Jehovah. Some of his favorite things to do were just chilling at home, cooking, watching movies nonstop, and tending his plants, Marvin will truly be missed.
