BUSINESS CLOSINGS AND DELAYS:
Missile and Space Intelligence Center – Day One of three-day Surface-to-Air Missile Symposium is cancelled. Event will resume on Wednesday for day two
Etowah County State offices and buildings closed Monday-The Sheriff’s Office will remain open.
MSFC – closed Tuesday
City of Decatur- Municipal Court Dockets cancelled for Tuesday
Jackson County – Transit buses will not run Tuesday. All Jackson County senior centers will be closed
Pilgrim’s Pride, Guntersville – First shift Tuesday delayed 3 hours
Redstone Arsenal – Closed Tuesday. However:
- Designated Key and Essential personnel should consult with supervisors about duty status
- Gate 9 will remain open 24/7 for emergency traffic and Redstone Arsenal residents only. All other gates will be closed, inbound and outbound.
- Child Development Centers will be closed.
- The Exchange and Commissary will be closed.
- All post restaurants and Family Morale, Welfare and Recreation activities will be closed.
- Redstone Arsenal contractors should follow the guidance stated in contracts regarding closures.
- All employees should be in close contact with supervisors to ensure they have the latest information and instructions and should report their status to supervisors on a regular basis for accountability.
YMCA – The following YMCA Early Childhood Education Centers and activities will be impacted on Sept. 12.
- YMCA Downtown Early Childhood Education Center – Closed
- YMCA Northwest Early Childhood Education Center – Closed
- YMCA Southeast Early Childhood Education Center – Closed
