Funeral service for Mr. Christopher Harrell Surrett, age 64, of Bethel Springs, TN, formerly of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Surrett was a native of Madison County, Alabama and born on February 3, 1953 to the late Harold and Edith Louwella Smith Surrett. He passed away on September 8, 2017 at Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Survivors include a uncle, Donald Surrett; cousins, Debbie (Don) Ivy, Cindy (Don) Wright, Barty Surrett and Rusty Surrett; second cousins, Adam Ivy, Justin Ivy, Logan Wright and Devin Wright; and special caregiver, Deborah Mann and Kathy Hart. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Crabtree; aunt, Polly Surrett; and cousin, Debbie Maxie.
Visitation with the family will be 10 a.m. until time of service on Monday at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Christopher Harrell Surrett.
