Mary Sue McKinney – Obituary

Mary Sue McKinney, 76, died Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, Al. She was born in Alabama and was formerly of Atwood, Al. She was a factory worker for thirty-two years and attended the Church of God.

Services will be Saturday, September 9, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Al. with Bro. Gary Puckett and Bro. Tarin Puckett officiating. Burial will be in Sparks Chapel Cemetery, Vina, Al. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by three daughters – Susan Puckett (Gary) Red Bay, Al., Michelle Simpson, Hartselle, Al. and Sandy Sartin, Tremont, Ms.; four grandchildren – Taylor Hendrix, Tarin Puckett, Tessie Simpson and MaKayla Sartin; one great-grandchild – Cole Hendrix; three sisters – Betty June Duke, Earlene Emerson (Marshall) and Wanda Pitts and three brothers – Eurcel Taylor (Lou), Gene Taylor (Gloria) and Hugh Don Taylor (Virginia).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Haston Taylor and Bessie Harris Taylor, husband, Robert McKinney, a daughter, Donna McKinney, a granddaughter, Kasie Sartin and a brother, Hansel Taylor.
