FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department released a report on a robbery that took place on Thursday, September 7. Authorities are asking anyone with information to please contact the Florence Police at 256.760.6557:
“We had a report of a Robbery that occurred around 8pm last night, Thursday, September 7.
The robbery took place in the area of Irvine Ave and N Cypress St. The victim was sitting on his front porch when two subjects approached him with handguns. They were wearing dark clothing with their faces covered. During this time a patrol unit was seen by both subject and they ran.
The officer did see both subjects but was unable to catch up to them once he received the information from the victim.
