James Edward Cook, Sr. of Millington, Tennessee passed away on September 4, 2017. He was born in Pulaski, TN on December 23, 1925 and was 88 years old.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 7th from 10:00 until 12:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will follow at 12:00pm Thursday, September 7th in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Johnathan Burns officiating
Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Pulaski, TN.
He was preceded in death by his, wife, Dorrie “Dot” Cook, Son, James Edward Cook, Jr. parents, Thomas Henry and Nora Lee Peters Cook, brother, Charles Moran Cook, and sister, Frances Eugenia Cook.
He is survived by his,
Daughter, Susan (James) Norman of Somerville, TN
Sister, Connie Dixon of Pulaski, TN
Granddaughter, Emily (Monte) Whaley of Nashville, TN
Granddaughter, Amy (James) Harlan of Holly Springs, MS
Grandson, James (Kim) Cook III of Olive Branch, MS
7 Great grandchildren also survive.
Special caregivers, Therese Lewis-Matute and Anthony Matute.
