Dean was a member of Loretto Church of Christ and retired from Salant Corp. She was passionate about gardening, and tending to her flowers in the early morning hours, leaving her footprints in the dew. She was a fabulous cook, and holiday meals were one of her favorite times. In her later years, she seldom missed a yard sale or 10 for 10 at Kroger.

Mother was an inspiration to us all with patience, grace and kindness throughout her illness as she never complained, always looking forward.

Rest now Sweet Mother, as we shall hold you forever in our hearts.

A special thanks to the Country Cottage Assisted Living, NHC Scott and Crockett Hospital for all the love and care you’ve shown our mother.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105-9956, in mother’s memory, for the children.

Neal Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
