William “Larry” Blankenship – Obituary

Funeral services for William “Larry” Blankenship were Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Cleatus NeSmith officiating.

Burial was in Rutherford Cemetery.

Mr. Blankenship died Thursday, Sept. 6, in Moulton. He was born Sept. 27, 1948, in Lawrence County to Russell Blankenship and Florene Harville Blankenship. He was a truck driver for Whitaker Corporation.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Appleton Blankenship; one son, William Larry Blankenship, Jr., (Jessica) of Moulton; one daughter, Angie Patrick (Richard) of Illinois; four brothers, James Thomas Blankenship, Freddie Blankenship and Clint Blankenship, all of Moulton and William Case of Tennessee; one sister, Edna Butler of Moulton; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Scottie Butler, Jr., Larry Joe Blankenship, Gregory Warren Blankenship, MIchael Blankenship, Tim Blankenship and Robert Jarod Blankenship.
