Annie Lou Goodin, age 91 of Athens, AL passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Goodin was born on February 19, 1926 in Athens, AL to Carl Rex and Ada Roosevelt Lauderdale.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Wesley Goodin.
Mrs. Goodin is survived by four daughters, Charlotte Jeffreys (Kyle), Joan White (Milton), Vicky Goodin and Joyce Kimbrell (T.C.); sister, Mary Sue Pugh; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Mrs. Goodin worked at Athens Lingerie for 25 years. She attended Huntsville Bible classes.
Services for Mrs. Goodin will be 4:30PM Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Joel Carwile officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-4:15PM prior to the service. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Beddingfield, John Robinson, Joel Marbut, David Marbut, Kevin White, Kent White, Keith White and Hayden White.
