Wilma Mae Mills – Obituary

Wilma Mae Mills, 77, of Russellville, entered into rest on September 2, 2017.

Mrs. Mills was born on March 15, 1940, in Bear Creek. She was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ for 25 years. Wilma was a graduate of Phillips High School and Northwest Shoals Community College. She was a secretary, librarian, and a bus driver at Hackleburg School.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 12pm-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 2pm. Tony Glenn will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Home Cemetery in Bear Creek.

Wilma is survived by her son, Dennis Mills IV and his wife Ruth, Daniel Mills and his wife Pam; daughter, Cheri Denise Mann and her husband Scott; brothers, Royce Mann and his wife Helen, Loyd Mann and his wife Becky; sisters, Edith Adams and Reda Cole. She was “Maw-Maw” to 7 grandchildren, Stephanie (Maurice) McCulloch, Emily (Michael) Burkett, Casey (Allie) Mills, Jesse (Loren) Mills, Andrew Mills, Kandi (Blake) Parker, Taryn Mann, and 9 great grandchildren, Keira Cruse, Kaden Cruse, Ashia McCulloch, McKenna Mills, Tucker Mills, Madelyn Parker, Camden Parker, Grace Parker, and Austin Parker.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Dennis Mills III; parents, James Silas Mann and Lena Mae Mann; brother, Loyce Mann; brothers in law, Earl Cole and John Adams.
