Bobby proudly served in the U.S. Army and later worked for 35 years as a railway conductor with Norfolk Southern Railway. He was a good Christian man that everyone loved being around and he never met a stranger. Music was his life and he loved playing his guitar and singing with his wife, and was often found singing at the nursing homes, the retirement center, and church. He was an avid golfer, always upbeat, and remained strong and determined even until the very end. The visitation will be 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Saturday, September 02, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 03, 2017 at Siloam Baptist Church, with the body lying in state one hour prior to the service. Speaking at the service will be Rev.
