Wilfred Edmund Becker, age 85, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Becker was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Aloysius “A.A.” and Regina Anna Becker. He retired from the United States Army as a Sergent Major . He was preceded in death by his parents Aloysius “A.A.” and Regina Anna Becker. Mr. Becker is survived by his wife Shirley Abbot Becker; children Ronald Becker, Donna Becker, Edward Becker and Carol Irvine; his sisters and brother Audrey Becker, Francis Perkins, Dolores Sax, Jean Holman, David Becker and Glenda Barnett; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mr. Becker’s visitation will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at Hampton Cove Funeral Home. His funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11 am with Father Phil O’Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at Hampton Cove Cemetery.
