James E. Lockard, age 83, of Huntsville passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Survivors include his devoted wife of 61 years Marlyn Lockard, sons Michael Lockard (Davona) of Hazel Green, Timothy Lockard (Colleen) of Morganton, NC and Jeffery Lockard of Huntsville. Also surviving are six grandchildren Laura Edmonds (Jeff), Amanda, Austin, Harrison, Andrea and Zachary Lockard with special friend Riley Gusitch. He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant daughters and his brother Milan Lockard and sister Sharon Fields. Visitation will be at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. The funeral mass and inurnment in Good Shepherd Columbarium will follow immediately with Father Phil O’Kennedy officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church or Shriners Childrens Hospitals.
