Mildred McMurtrey Kelley – Obituary

Mildred McMurtrey Kelley, 77, of Florence, passed away August 25, 2017.  She was a member of Community Freewill Baptist  Church.  She was a graduate of Rogers High School and retired from H.D. Lee Manufacturing Co.

On May 31, 1958, she married the love of her life, Toby Lee Kelley, to whom she was completely devoted to for 59 years.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 27, from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Monday, August 28, at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Bro. Malcolm Scott officiating.   Burial will follow in Community Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mattie McMurtrey, a brother Hubert, and a sister Ella Carnell Murtrey, a son, Roger Leonard Kelley, and a grandson Stanley Blake Kelley.  Survivors include her husband, Toby Lee Kelley, sons, Stanley Travis and wife Lisa Kelley, of Florence, Jason and wife Amy Kelley of Birmingham; granddaughter, Selena and husband Kevin Walls of Hamilton, MS.  She is also survived by (5) great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Cole, Chris Thompson, Kevin Moomaw, Robert Jaynes, Steve Kelley, Brandon Kelley, Steve Forsythe, and Chuck Harrison.

Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
