Berta Lawler, age 90, Hackleburg, AL passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Marion County, Alabama on Saturday, March 19, 1927 to Frank and Dicy Raburn Lacey. Berta was a faithful member of her Church. Visitation will be Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 11-2:00 p.m. Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church. The service will at follow 2 p.m. with Bro. Kyle Copland and Bro. Doug Swann officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Lawler; parents, Frank and Dicy Lacey; grandson, David Holbrook Jr.; and six sibling. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Pam Holcombe (husband, Larry), Elaine England, Kathy Cooper; seven grand children; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and host of nieces, nephews and friends. Marion County Funeral Home assisted with the service.
