Howard Cleo Allen, 89, died Aug. 23, 2017. Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m at Ridout’s Brown-Service Chapel with Bro. Danny Gibson officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Allen who died Wednesday Aug. 23, 2017 was born on Aug. 26, 1927, in Birmingham, AL to Howard M. Allen and Fannie M. Basinburg. He served in WWII. He is preceded in death by his wife Louise Allen and son Joey Allen.
Survivors include a son; Ray Allen and wife Jan, daughter; Lisa Lemons and husband Jerry, sister; Leopal Kirk, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
