Brownie Laura Jenkins – Obituary

Miss Brownie Laura Jenkins of Pulaski Passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at NHC Pulaski. She was born in Giles County in the Odd Fellows Hall Community on June 27, 1927 and was 90 years old. She was a long-time member of the Providence and Second Street Church of Christ. She was an employee of General Shoe for 45 years where she retired upon the Plant’s closing. She was a doting aunt and delighted in babysitting her great-nieces and great-nephew.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 26th from 9:00am until 11:00am followed by the funeral at 11:00am in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Jenkins officiating.
Burial takes place in Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial suggestions are asked to go to the Second Street Church of Christ Building Fund % P.O. Box 35, Pulaski, TN 38478.
She was preceded in death by her parents Marlon Lambert and Mamie Pierce Jenkins, Sr., brother, M.L. “Mug” Jenkins, Jr., and sister, Elizabeth Russell.
She is survived by her,

Great great-niece, Jolie Wren Stafford
