Funeral Services for Ancil Wallace, age 71 of Cullman, will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Burial will follow at Cullman City Cemetery, with Bro. Jim Deason & Bro. Nick Woods officiating.

Ancil was born on February 7, 1946 to the late John Amos & Icie Mavis Hale Wallace; and passed away at home Sunday, August 20, 2017. He loved to travel, and work in his garden, was an avid Alabama fan and a lifelong member of the church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Jerry Amos Wallace.
Survivors include his Wife of 50 years – Betty Jo Jester Wallace; Daughter – Sharyn (Gary) Hollingsworth; Son – Lee (Kristie) Wallace; 5 – Grandchildren – Drake Hollingsworth, Callie Hollingsworth, Icie Wallace, Baylor Wallace & Copper Wallace; 3 – Sisters – Margaret (Howard) Millican, Eloise (Charles) Campbell & Peggy (Sonny) Tucker.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Donations maybe made to the Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge in Birmingham or American Cancer Society, in lieu-of-flowers.
