BIG SPRING (TUSCUMBIA) – The Oka Kapassa Native American Festival was held last weekend. Native Americans gathered to celebrate their heritage and to display their culture and tell stories to visitors attending the event. Additionally, many Native American craft works and art were made available for the locals to purchase. Be sure to check out Ninon Parker and Friends at The Coldwater Stagecoach Line!

Of course, The Quad-Cities Daily was there recording the even in photographs.
