Mary Etna Garrison, age 87, Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at her residence.
A graveside service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Hyde Cemetery in Littleville. Bro. Richard Alexander will speak at the service.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 70 years, JC Garrison; sons, Claude Raymond Garrison and Jerry Wayne Garrison; siblings, Delmar Vandiver, Dell Vandiver, Rebecca Vandiver, and Martha Lou Tyra.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Barbara Higgins (husband, Donny); daughter-in-law, Debbie Garrison; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Daniel Posey (wife, Ruby); and a host of nieces & nephews.
The pallbearers will be James Brown, Kevin Brown, Richey Michael and Nathan Mitchel.
The family would like to extend a special thanks the nurses and staff of Amedysis Hospice, especially Melissa Pauley, Spry Memorial Chapel, and Richard Alexander for the care and comfort of our family.
