Funeral service for Vera I. Dunlap Brown Miller, 93, will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rob Jackson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Miller passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at her residence. She was born October 23, 1923, in Morgan County to Newell Dunlap and Mamie Vest Dunlap. She was employed in the Coffee Shop in Decatur General Hospital for several years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Decatur and was preceded in death by two husbands: Ralph L. Brown Sr. and Lewis Miller, an infant daughter: Shirley Brown and a brother: James Dunlap.
