Funeral service for Roger Dale Champion, 59, will be Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson and Bro. Josh Sparkman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Nelson Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, August 14, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Champion died on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born January 17, 1958, in Morgan County to James A. Champion and Lois Faye Ballenger Callahan. Mr. Champion was a very hard worker and would give the shirt off his back, or his last penny to anyone that he thought needed it more than he did. He was married to his wife, Teresa, for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents.
