FLORENCE-The Z (historic Zodia Playhouse) at 416 North Court Street has some really nifty upcoming events.  Just a couple of events coming up that might just be fun!

Improv 101 Class — This will be an 8 Week Course starting Tuesday,  August 22, 5:30 – 7:45 pm at TheZ (formerly the Zodiac Theater). Presented by Sustainable Differences  To register, go to https://teamdkp.com/product/improv-101/

Who Should Take This Class?

ACTORS- looking to add improvisation to their tool belt for increased flexibility during auditions and more call back opportunity.
IMPROVISERS- looking for a new way to approach scenes that is organic and evolving.
ANYONE- who is feeling like they need to knock the rust off of the old Improv brain.

People who may be concerned about “being funny”, our approach is about character development and trust…the funny will just happen.

Awesome class benefits:

Discovering how your unique life experiences are tools to entertain any audience
Learning to react honestly and emotionally to your scene partners
Building organic scenes by listening and building off the last words spoken
Learning how to be human. Audiences fall in love with performers who are willing to be honest and real. Become one of those performers.
