Margaret ‘Gerry’ White passed away peacefully on August 13, 2017. She was married to Clinton “Clint” White.
Gerry was a long time active and much loved member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. When she married Clint White she attended First Baptist Church Sunday School. She will be greatly missed by both congregations and by the many people whose lives she touched.
Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Doshia Honea. She is survived by her loving husband, Clint White, and by her son, John Buyse and his wife, Sue, and their two daughters. Gerry’s granddaughters and their families are Jennifer Buyse Wilbourn, her husband Lee, and their children Sean Buyse, Bryson, Nathan, Devin, and Fallon Wilbourn; and Stephanie Buyse Markham, her husband, Harold, and their daughters, Alexius and Taylar.
You may visit with the family at Laughlin Service Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. A funeral service conducted by Dr. Ron Madison will take place at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Thursday, August 17 2017, followed by a private interment at Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gerry’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
