Martha Adeline Hull, 92, of Mount Pleasant, TN received her heavenly promotion on August 11, 2017.
Martha was born on July 19, 1925 in Newton, KS to the late William Callaway and Naomi Kliewer Henderson. She graduated from Ottawa University in 1947 with her Bachelor’s degree in Music. She was a long-time member at First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, TN where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and was very active in mission work. Martha also spent many years teaching third grade at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Florence H. Schupbach. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 72 years, Robert W. Hull of Mt. Pleasant; son: Roger(Elizabeth) Hull of Winston-Salem, NC; daughters: Susan(Bill) Kimmerly of Knoxville, TN and Julie Hull of Mt. Pleasant, TN; grandson: Jeff(Desiree) Lowe of Knoxville, TN; great grandsons: Jeremiah, Asher, Samuel, and Caleb Lowe. Survivors also include sisters: Mary Meech of Central Point, OR and Ruth Henness of Kansas City, KS.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 14 at Williams Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant from 5-7 p.m. Services for Mrs. Hull will be held on Tuesday, August 15 beginning at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Frank Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
