Funeral service for Cora Mae Harris Love, age 81, of Decatur, who died Wednesday, August 9, 2017, will be Monday, August 14, 2017, 1:00 pm at Shelton Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Simmons officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Love was born September 2, 1935 in Alabama to Thomas and Nettie Hood Harris.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra Detherage (Larry) of Decatur, three grandchildren, Lonnie Lovett (Jessica), Brandy Nicole Lovett, both of Decatur, and Benjamin Abbott (Christy) of Mt. Hope, seven great grandchildren, Delta, Taylor, Lonnie B., Elizabeth, Brionna, Brittany and Brandon, two brothers, Bernard Harris and William Buster Harris, one sister Lorene McCatheren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
