Brenda Bryant Hudson, passed August 3rd. Born October 2, 1941 to Charles “Sloan” and Elizabeth Hicks Bryant. She resided in Athens. Preceded in death, by her husband Joseph Rudolph “Rudy” Hudson, the couple was married for 52 years. She is survived by her son Joe, his wife Yumiko and their children Jonathan, Thomas, Nikki; and daughter Kelli Hudson Lindsey, her husband Henry and their children Sloane and Payne. Also included is her brother Gerald Bryant and his family. She will be greatly missed.
The family has honored her wishes of cremation and will celebrate her life with a beach memorial at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the “Foundation on Aging”; checks can be mailed to P.O Box 1261, Athens AL 35612.
