Hilda Mote Tait – Obituary

Hilda Mote Tait, 81, died Tuesday August 8, 2017 at NHC of Moulton. She was born April 14, 1936 in Lawrence County to Marion A. Mote and Bessie Terry Mote. Visitation will be on Saturday August 12, 2107 from 10:00 until 12:00 at Good Shepherd Episcopal church in Decatur with a graveside to follow at Moulton Memory Gardens at 12:30 PM with Bude Van Dyke officiating. Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home Directing.

Hilda retired from Wolverine as an executive assistant. She volunteered for several years at the Red Cross and received the blood service volunteer of the year award. She also volunteered at the mental health association.
Hilda was preceded in death by her husband Richard Tait, her son Steve Cameron and brother Royal Mote.

She is Survived by her sister Daphine Wallace and Husband Jerius , Sister in Law Elaine Mote and special friend and “daughter” Deborah Allen and Husband Larry and god daughter Missey Hall. Stepson Rick Tait and wife Patty, Jim Tait and wife Terry, Stepdaughter’s Susan Kruz and husband Doug, Sally T. Quinn and Husband Cliff and a host of Nephews and Nieces and great nephews and Nieces.

A special Thank You to Greg and Julia Haynes for the time they took care of her. The Family request no flowers but instead make donations to church of the good Sheppard Episcopal Church, Red Cross, Mental; Health Association or Hospice of the Valley
