Man Arrest From Breaking And Entering A Vehicle After Call From Concerned Citizen

FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department released a statement concerning the arrest of  suspect on Wednesday, August 9.   The arrest came after a complaint from a concerned citizen:

“David A Baskins, W/M 22 yoa, Florence, Al. arrested on  2 counts of Breaking and Entering a Vehicle, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Theft of Property 3rd, and Theft of Property 4th, $9,000.00 Bond. He is still currently in the Lauderdale County Detention Center.

Mr Baskins was arrested on warrants for Breaking and Entering a Vehicle and Theft of Property. During the arrest they found illegal drugs on him. Mr Baskins was stopped overnight, in the Seven Points area of Florence, due to a complaint from a citizen. The warrants for Mr Baskins are from him breaking into two vehicles in the downtown Florence Area.”
