ROGERSVILLE-The Shades of Bluegrass Festival is coming to Rogersville this fall on September 29 and 30.
The festival will take place at Recreation park located on Optimist Drive in Rogersville on Friday the fun starts at 6:00 PM and the music will end at 9:00 PM cost for Friday will be $8.00 for adults and 12 and under free. On Saturday, September 30 the music starts at 1:00 PM and will end at 9:00 PM. Cost for admission on Saturday will be $10.00 for adults 12 and under in for free. To day admission will be $15.00.
The featured artist for Saturday will be Grammy winners Charlie Cushman, Johnny Warren, Shawn Camp and Kent Blanton.
Jammers are always welcome. A Shade Tree contest will be on Saturday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. 1st place $400 and 2nd place $200. 1st place will perform at 8:00 PM on stage.
