TUPELO-The Lee County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement on the arrest of a suspect on Thursday, August 3 on several charges including Possession of Meth:

“On Thursday, August 03, 2017, Lee County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Bostick conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by MARTY MINOR on Hwy. 370 E, Baldwyn MS (Pratts Community) for a traffic violation.

Deputy Bostick obtained consent to search the vehicle from MINOR and during a search of the vehicle Deputy Bostick found approximately 4 grams of methamphetamine, numerous drug paraphernalia items, 2 pistols, and $1,243.00 in U.S. Currency.

MINOR was arrested for several misdemeanor violations and possession of methamphetamine (enhanced/firearm). MINOR will also be presented to the next Lee County Grand Jury on the charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. MINOR is currently under the supervision of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Charge: Possession of Methamphetamine (Enhanced/firearm)
