Donald “Duck” Kenneth Young, 69, of Waterloo, died Saturday, August 5, 2017. His visitation will be Monday, August 7, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. His funeral service will be Tuesday, August 8th at 11:00, graveside at Central Heights Community Cemetery with Bro. Paul Holloway officiating.
Duck was preceded in death by his parents, Ellie and Eura Sharp Young; brother, Johnny Young; and sister, Agnes Collins.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Bevis Young; son, Randall Woods (Diane); daughter, Carol Smith (Travis); brother, J.C. Young; sisters, Alice Sharp, Dorothy Ezekiel, and Debra Daniels; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Frankie Putman, Bradley Putman, James Putman, Tracy Smith, Wayne Sharp, Michael Young and Wesley Smith.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Kindred Hospice, especially Stephanie and Holly for their loving care of Duck.
