Teen Drowns On Lewis Smith Lake On Saturday, August 5

WINSTON COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a drowning on Lewis Smith Lake In Winson County that took the life of a teen on Saturdays, August 5:

“A swimming incident at 6:30 p.m. in the Arley area of Lewis Smith Lake on Saturday, Aug. 5, has claimed the life of a Miss., teen.

The 16 year-old male drowned while swimming off a boat dock at a residence in Winston County and was recovered shortly afterwards.

Nothing further is available as Troopers from ALEA’s Marine Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
