Jane Emberg, 98 of Sheffield, died Thursday, August 3, 2017. There will be a visitation Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia with her funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Terry Jones will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Lynn City Cemetery in Lynn, Alabama.

Ms. Emberg was an Alabama native, a retired Beautician and a member of Annapolis Avenue Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles; daughter, Bobbie; parents, James and Bessie Rice; four sisters, Louise Colburn, Estelle Barton, Gladys Wood and Hazel Bailey; and one nephew, Gary Colburn.
Ms. Emberg is survived by her nieces, Becky Dodd (James), Sue Ellis, and Vicky Basford (Johnny); nephews, Butch Wood (Sharon), Ricky Wood and Jimmy Bailey; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
