Phillip Gene Svetkovich – Obituary

Phillip Gene Svetkovich, age 69, of Leoma, TN passed away Wednesday, August 02, 2017, at his home after a hard fought battle with leukemia.  He was a machinist for Murray Ohio for 38 years.  More importantly, he was a loving husband and father and devoted “Granday” to his two grandchildren.

He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, Gloria J. Newton Svetkovich, his daughter, M’Lee Svetkovich Harvill and husband, Tony; his son, Phillip G. Svetkovich, Jr.and wife, Laura; two grandchildren, Evan Lee Harvill and Raelyn June Svetkovich; other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Molly Ivec Svetkovich; and one brother, Fred Svetkovich.

He is also survived by two sisters, Pat Littrell and Carolyn Putman; two brothers, Steve Svetkovich and Donnie Svetkovich; one uncle, Leo Ivec; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, August 06, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home.  Family suggests memorials be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
