Robert Leon “Bob” Lanford, Sr., 73, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017. Visitation will be Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.  Brother Bruce Blankenship will be officiating.

Bob proudly served in the U.S. Airforce during the Vietnam War.  He worked at Reynolds Western Auto and retired as a service manager from family Lincoln Mercury. He was a member of River Road Church of Christ. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. Lanford and Lillian Doris Black Duskey; brothers, Larry Lanford and Bobby Linn.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hester Lanford of 53 years of Tuscumbia, AL; sons, Robert Leon Lanford, Jr. of Florence, AL and Bryan Scott Lanford (Selena) of Haleyville, AL; brother, Billy Duskey (Nicole); sisters, Wanda Kinkelmann (Glenn) and Janice Castile; stepmother, Izella Lanford; grandchildren, Hunter Scott Lanford, Marissa Ann Lanford, Nikki Barnett and Cassondra Haley.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
