Robert Glenn Strong (Bob), of Harvest, AL. passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the age of 70.
His visitation will be Saturday July 29, 2017 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, AL. A Funeral service will be Saturday July 29, 2017 at 3:00pm in the Chapel with Bro. Rick Todd officiating. Burial will be in Hatchett Cemetery.
Bob was born December 18th,1946 in Huntsville Alabama. He was a sharp shooter and Helicopter Mechanic in The Vietnam War and earned several medals during his service. He owned and operated Robert Strong’s Drywall.
Bob was preceeded in death by his first wife, Nancy, parents, Jack and Sarah Strong, children, Ray, Walter, Teresa, and Sharon, Granddaughter, Kriston, Brothers, Raymond, James, Charlie, Jerry, Pete, Jackie, and sister, Sally.
Survivors include his wife Lisa Strong, children, Robert Strong, Jr.,Kenneth (Bitt) Strong(Trina), Lynn Bailey (Wayne), Marie Morrell, Amanda Todd (Corey), Sandy Loveday, and Donna Buszka (Michael). 13 Grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren, and special friend Goofy.
Pall Beares will be Johnny Loveday, Austin Morrell, Skylar Rivera, Shane Strong, David Gulley, Dee Daniels.
Honorary Pall bearers are CJ Morrell, Dakota Bailey, Preston Todd, and Levi Todd.
