Clarice Jackson – Obituary

Clarice Jackson, 88, died Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born in Franklin County, Alabama to James Jefferson and Dona Isabelle Holland.

Services will be Saturday, July 29, 5 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Alabama, with Brother J.C. Blackburn and Brother Jerry Humphres officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama, will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by four children, James Jackson, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Donnie Jackson (Shirley) and Darrell Jackson (Geraldine), all of Vina, and Sharron Wildmon, of Red Bay; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Nellie Humphres; one brother, Phona Holland; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Velois Jackson; one son, Junior Jackson; grandson, Paul Jackson; great-grandson, Jasper Rigual; and two sisters, Roxie Singleton and Cleta Ozbirn.

Pallbearers will be Clayton Diehl, Steven Singleton, Derek Jackson, Earl Jackson, Jose Rigual, and Skylar Reed.

Visitation will be today, 6-9 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama.
