Thomas Calvin Fitzgerald – Obituary

Thomas Calvin Fitzgerald passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia. He was born in Pulaski on June 9, 1928 and was 89 years old.
He loved his family. He was a US Military Veteran, part of the greatest generation, having served during WWII in the United States Navy. He was a member of the VFW, a 60 year member of the Masonic Lodge 101 in Pulaski. He was a longtime Christian and worshiped at Second Street Church of Christ.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm with a Masonic Service beginning at 7:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will follow on Friday, July 28th at 11:00am in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to Giles County Honor Guard, P O Box 321, Pulaski, Tennessee 38478.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Virginia Harwell Fitzgerald, parents, James Thomas and Pearl Evelyn Muse Fitzgerald, Son, Thomas Michael Fitzgerald, Step-daughter, Vivian S. Wise and sister, Mary Louise Lane.
He is survived by his,
Son, Ricky (Regina) Fitzgerald of Goodspring, Tn.
Son, Larry ( Cherrie) Fitzgerald of Knoxville, Tn.
5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren
Sisters, Joyce Fitzgerald Chaffin of Pulaski and Barbara Cole of Athens, Alabama
Brother, UT Fitzgerald of Louisville, Kentucky
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Thomas Calvin Fitzgerald.
