Eveleth Hadley Bagwell – Obituary

Funeral for Eveleth Hadley Bagwell, 99, of Decatur Alabama, will be on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ben Hayes officiating. The family will have a visitation from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Roselawn Gardens.

Mrs. Bagwell was born on June 3, 1918 in Randolph County to Joseph D. Hadley and Jessie Lee Carver. She taught school in Hartselle City Schools and Morgan County Schools for 41 years. She was a member of Southside Baptist church since 1968. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Bagwell; son Steven Allen Bagwell; her parents; and four brothers, Theo Hadley, Lawrence Hadley, Caver Hadley, and William Hadley.

Survivors are son, Joe E. Bagwell and wife, Diane; daughter-in-law, Deborah Jefferys Bagwell; four grandchildren, Jonathan Bagwell and wife, Carol, Holly Klemme and husband, Kevin, Emily Reilly and husband, Jody, and Joey Bagwell; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Hadley Gaines; and several nieces and nephews.

The Family requested that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, Decatur Alabama.

The family would like to thank the care givers and friends and the staff of Hospice of the valley for all their kindness given to Mrs. Bagwell during her illness.
