Mr. Billy Wade Taylor, 69, passed away, Saturday, July 22, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee on September 8, 1947 to Everett Waymon and Martha Edna Caldwell Taylor who preceded him in death along with his brother, Charles Everett Taylor; niece, Lora Cox Murdock.

He was a member of the Church of Christ at Gruetli-Laager. Billy Wade was a Electrician, Nurseryman, Iron Worker, Coal Miner and a Master Logger. He served his country in the US Army in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Dr. Kim Hill Taylor; daughter, Lori Beth Taylor; sisters, Laura Mae Cox, Rebecca Ann (Carl) Morrison and Lura Faye (Mike) Gross; brothers, Waymon Hardy “Sonny” Taylor, Robert Lee (Sara) Taylor and Joe David (Wanda) Taylor; several loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Eddie Birdwell officiating with Mililtary Honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard with burial to follow in the Taylor Family Cemetery.
