John Edward (Ed) Robison left this earthly home on July 21, 2017 after 79 years of being a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many.  He will be missed greatly by his loving family and friends.

Ed was preceded in death by his lovely wife Linda F. Robison, father and mother, James Grady and Mattie Lee Robison, and brother Dee Robison.  Left to cherish his memories are children Donna Tidwell (Chris) and John Robison (Karen), his grandchildren Michael Robison, Elizabeth Robison, Hannah Newman (Ryan), Phillip Robison (Lauren), David Robison, Nathan Robison, Ashley Van Otterloo (Nathan) and Daniel Tidwell, and his great grandchildren Esther, Naomi, Eva and Maia Van Otterloo.  He is also survived by his brother Neal Robison; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was a faithful member of Faith Church in Florence and was known and loved in the community by those he worked with during his many years at Reynolds Aluminum.  He was active in Brooks Band Boosters, Brooks Athletics Boosters, Killen Lion’s Club and Woodman of the World.  He spent many days as a caregiver of his wife, Linda.  He was a regular at the Killen Diner and Newbern’s Restaurant.

The family wishes to extend their thanks for the love and excellent care he received from the Staff at Mitchell-Hollingsworth of Florence, Green Oaks Inn of Florence and at Life Care Center of Cleveland, TN.

Visitation will be Sunday, July, 23rd from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, July 24th, both at Greenview Memorial Chapel in Florence.  The family requests that you help in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease and dementia by making a Tribute Donation, in honor of Ed, to the Alzheimer’s Association at the following web site:  www.alz.org/donate.
