Linda Gail Ortner Taylor, 73, of Iuka, MS, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Tishomingo Community Living Center in Iuka. Linda enjoyed shopping and getting her nails and hair done. She always had to have her hair and makeup done to perfection. Her family and grandchildren were the lights of her life and her reason for being. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 21, 2017, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Allsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Cherokee, AL, officiated by Bro. J.B. Burns and Buddy Dover. Pallbearers include Jason Ortner, Keith Wimberly, Larry Parker, Randy Ramsey, Brian Ramsey, Kevin Taylor, Andre Taylor, and Luther Bishop. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her daughter, Melynda Woodruff (Johnny); her sister, JoAnn Wimberly; her brothers, Richard D. Ortner (Chris) and Mike Ortner (Ruth); her grandchildren, Nathan Woodruff and Chad Woodruff; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Taylor; her parents, Dee and Sybil Ortner; and her sister, Mildred Ramsey.
